2026 Annual MAD Spring Showcase A Huge Success

On behalf of the students, teaching artists, friends, and supporters of MAD Institute, thank you for helping make our 2026 Spring Showcase at the Irving Posner and Herman Ackman Space at Kaufman Music Center in New York City a tremendous success.

We are truly overwhelmed and deeply grateful for how our community has grown in just two years. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue building on this momentum—expanding our reach and making even greater strides in providing personalized, holistic, and values-based arts education that is accessible to everyone.

2025 Emerging Young Artist Series Presents Seryna Javier

MAD Institute proudly presents the inaugural installment of its Emerging Young Artists Series, featuring Seryna Javier, on Friday, December 5, at 7:00 PM at the Rehearsal Hall of Opera America’s National Opera Center, 330 7th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

A dedicated MAD Institute student, Seryna trains in the vocal studio of Rogelio Penaverde and the movement studio of Dilara Naska. She is currently a junior at the renowned LaGuardia Arts High School and will be assisted on piano by Ramon Catalan.

The Emerging Young Artists Series is a mini-showcase spotlighting MAD students who demonstrate exceptional talent and passion for their craft, and are pursuing deeper studies as they contemplate a professional path. The series provides these young artists with a platform to share their craft, refine their skills, and grow in their artistic journey.

Donations from the event will support MAD student scholarships and charitable outreach initiatives. Seating is limited. Reserve your spot by emailing info@madinstitute.org.

2025 Avocation Series Presents Kim Konnoth

MAD Institute proudly presents the inaugural performance of its Avocation Series, featuring Kim Konnoth, assisted by Eric Celerio, taking place on Saturday, November 15 at 6:00 PM at The Cathedral, Michiko Studios, 15 W 39th Street, 7th Floor. This new signature series celebrates accomplished individuals who, while building careers beyond the arts, continue to cultivate an enduring passion and noteworthy talent for artistic expression.

The Avocation Series offers a unique showcase for these artists—providing a space to share their craft, deepen their practice, and connect with audiences through the art forms they continue to cherish.

Proceeds from the event will support the MAD Institute Emerging Young Artist Scholarship and related initiatives.

MAD Institute's First Year Triumph: Our Students Earn Spots at Prestigious LaGuardia Arts High School

We're thrilled to celebrate a major milestone in our first year! Three of our incredibly talented students have earned coveted spots at the prestigious LaGuardia Arts High School! Seryna Javier is a sophomore of the voice program, Isabelle Quimosing is an incoming freshman of the drama program, and Ylise Visto is an incoming freshman of the voice program. This is a true testament to the power of our holistic arts training approach.
